Maya rolled up to the window and pressed her nose to the glass. Raindrops raced down like tiny race cars. 'Perfect puddle-jumping weather!' she grinned, grabbing her yellow jacket.

But when Maya got outside, the sidewalk was cracked and bumpy. Her wheelchair wheels wobbled. 'Hmm,' she said, tapping her chin. 'This path needs a fix.' She pulled out her crayon map.

'I know!' Maya lit up. 'Let's find all the smooth paths in town!' She rolled off, her rainbow hair ties bouncing. Her wheels hummed a happy song on the good paths.

She found the library ramp — smooth and wide. 'The library is a YES!' she cheered, marking it with a green star on her map. Then she found the bakery — a tiny step. 'That's a NO, but we can fix it!'

Her friend Leo rolled over. 'What are you doing?' 'Mapping the whole town!' Maya said. 'So everyone knows the best routes.' Leo grabbed a crayon. 'I'll help!'

More friends joined. Sofia drew the park paths. Jay checked the school ramps. They worked all afternoon, laughing and drawing. Every green star meant somewhere everyone could go.

Maya looked at their finished map — a rainbow of green stars and helpful notes. 'We did this together,' she said softly. 'Every star is a place where everyone belongs.'

The next day, Maya posted the map at the community center. A woman with a stroller smiled. 'This is amazing!' A neighbor in a wheelchair high-fived her. Maya's heart swelled.

That night, Maya sat by her window, looking at the stars. 'One map changed everything,' she whispered. 'And there's so much more to discover.' Her wheels rested beside her, ready for tomorrow.

Maya rolled into dreamland, her map spread beneath a sky of rainbow stars. Every path led somewhere wonderful. And the best paths, she knew, were the ones that welcomed everyone.
