The moon was round and bright, casting silver light on the quiet shore. Raymond the turtle poked his head out of his shell, blinking at the shimmering water.
Suddenly, a tiny sparkle danced in the air, then another. A glowing path of stars appeared, stretching from the sand into the night sky.
Raymond touched the first star with his flipper. It tingled like a gentle whisper. 'Come along,' said a tiny voice. 'We're going on a journey.'
He floated up, following the starry path. Below, the ocean glittered like a thousand tiny mirrors. Above, the stars sang a soft, sleepy song.
A friendly star named Stella twirled beside him. 'We're polishing the moon tonight,' she said. 'Can you help?' Raymond nodded, his shell gleaming.
Together, they buffed the moon until it shone like a pearl. The moon smiled, and its light grew warmer, wrapping Raymond in a cozy hug.
'Time to go home,' whispered Stella. She kissed Raymond's forehead with a sprinkle of stardust. 'Whenever you look up, remember our adventure.'
Raymond drifted down to his sandy bed, the stardust still glowing on his shell. He curled up, yawning, as the stars hummed a lullaby.
And as the waves whispered goodnight, Raymond smiled, knowing the stars would watch over him until morning. Sweet dreams, little turtle.
