[Energetic and bright] Hello, hello, my wonderful friends! Are you ready for a forest adventure? Today we are meeting Nutty. Nutty is a vry busy, very fluffy squirrel with a tail like a giant gray feather. [Giggling] Nutty is great at jumping, great at climbing, and very, very great at... forgetting! Do you ever forget where you put your favorite toy?

[Urgent and funny] It was a crisp, chilly autumn morning, and Nutty had a very important job. He had to find his winter breakfast! Last week, he had hidden five crunchy, delicious acorns in a very special spot. But when he looked under the big oak tree... [Gasp] No acorns! He looked behind the prickly bush... No acorns there either! Oh, Nutty!

[Playful searching] Nutty scratched his little ears and twitched his pink nose. [Thoughtful] "I know I put them near something... brown," he whispered. "Or was it something green?" He started digging in the leaves—*rustle, rustle, rustle!* But instead of acorns, he found an old red button and a very confused ladybug. "Not my acorns!" Nutty sighed.

[Curious discovery] Just as Nutty was about to give up, he saw a trail of little blue feathers on the ground. "Aha!" Nutty chirped. "A clue!" He followed the feathers over a fallen log and across a gurgling stream. He was so busy being a detective that he forgot he was supposed to be hungry! Where do you think the feathers lead?

[Awe and wonder] The feathers led Nutty to a hollow tree he had never seen before. Inside, it wasn't full of acorns at all. It was full of... treasure! There were shiny pebbles, colorful bits of string, and the brightest blue feathers he had ever seen. [Delighted] "It’s a secret forest palace!" Nutty exclaimed, his eyes wide with wonder.

[Gentle interaction] Inside the tree lived Barnaby the Blue Jay. [Playful bird squawk] "Caw! Caw! Hello, Nutty! Are you looking for your lunch?" Barnaby asked. Nutty nodded. "I forgot my acorns, Barnaby." Barnaby hopped down. "Well, I don't have acorns, but I have something even better... I have a map of the whole forest!"

[Collaborative and fun] Together, Nutty and Barnaby looked at the map. It was made of bark and drawn with berry juice. "Look!" Nutty pointed with his tiny paw. "I remember that rock! It looks like a sleeping bear!" He realized he hadn't hidden his acorns under the oak tree at all... he had hidden them near the Bear-Rock!

[Action-packed] Nutty thanked Barnaby and raced through the trees like a fuzzy lightning bolt! He leaped over a mushroom and swung from a willow branch. *Wheee!* When he reached the Bear-Rock, he started to dig—*scritch, scratch, scritch, scratch!* And guess what he found? [Triumphant] Five crunchy, perfect acorns!

[Warm and reflective] Nutty sat on top of the Bear-Rock and shared his acorns with his new friend, Barnaby. He realized that if he hadn't been so forgetful, he never would have found the secret palace or met a new friend! [Warmly] Sometimes, a little mistake can lead to a big adventure, can't it?

[Peaceful and satisfied] As the sun began to set, painting the sky in pink and orange, Nutty felt very happy. His tummy was full, and his heart was full of forest magic. He learned that even when we forget things, we can always find a way to solve the problem—and maybe have some fun along the way!

[Warm closing] The End. Thank you for listening to Story Time with Ms. Erica. Remember, my clever friends, every little detour is just a chance for a new discovery! [Sweetly] Sweet dreams, and I'll see you in our next adventure.
